About Rotarium — The House of Wheels

rota (Latin): wheel·-arium: a place for

Where the wheeled world is measured.

ROTARIUM · TECHNICAL ARCHIVE — PLATE I
FIG. 1 — STANDARD ROADSTER, c. 1972

01 — Why Rotarium exists

The European classic motorcycle market runs on folklore. Prices are argued at dinner tables and in paddocks, quoted in a dozen national marketplaces and half as many languages, and rarely anchored to anything you could actually measure.

Rotarium quantifies it. We ingest asking prices and realized auction results from across Europe, clean them, adjust for condition and mileage, and publish indices, reports and methodology that treat this market with the seriousness other asset classes take for granted.

02 — Our approach

Independent. Data-first. Methodology published. We hold no inventory, take no commissions from sellers, and do not broker transactions — the analysis is the product.

Every number we print can be traced back to a source, a cleaning rule and a model. Where the data is thin, we say so. Where the signal is strong, we let the numbers do the talking.

03 — Coverage

Six markets, three source types. Rebased weekly.
