How much of the market Rotarium sees.

We count every listing that clears basic validation: a real European price in a known currency, a source we monitor, and a title our matcher can resolve to a known model. Bikes we cannot identify go to a manual review queue rather than being guessed.

We exclude parts-only listings, project bikes without a defensible market price, obvious data errors, and duplicates across sources of the same underlying machine.

In our monthly medians, realized (sold) prices are weighted twice as heavily as asking prices — a transaction that actually cleared is stronger evidence than one that hasn't.

Where a model has fewer than three months of price data, we hide the index history and show listings-based stats only. Thin data is labelled, never dressed up.
